About Me

My name is Jessica, and I like beer.

I grew up in Michigan, home to some of the world's best breweries, to two beer-loving parents.  My dad would let me help him bottle his homebrew, and my mom would let me have smalls sips of whatever beer she was drinking.  They thought that if they taught me to appreciate really good beer while I was young, by the time I was of legal drinking age I would only like beer I couldn't afford.  It didn't work.

Now, my husband, two kids and I are back living in the great state of Michigan, and I am enjoying the boom of craft breweries all around me.  I am a bone fide Beer Mom.
